new to this Forum and thank you for all the help you can give, so story short, just bought an X20 love it so far i am an F5j flyer so i need to setup M+ to work with GR8 please help me with wiring it to Gr8.
thank you
Ben

Ben,
The short answer is: use S-Bus, as shown in the GR8 'manual' sheet.
However, I recommend that you read the following threads on this subject and redundancy in general here:
and here:

The bottom line is that you can achieve some measure of redundancy with the GR8/M+ combo, but you may not get the functionality you want/expect. The main limitation (for me) is that telemetry for some parameters (e.g. LiPo, Alt) drops out after the switch from GR8 to M+. I believe one of my posts in the above threads also includes a link to a discussion on RCG where a few guys did very in-depth analysis on this subject.

My ultimate solution after messing around with it for a while was to remove the M+ and instead focus on optimizing GR8 antenna orientation. I also set up voice alerts for low RSSI and VFR. IMHO redundancy can be critical for (big) power planes, but not so much for gliders.

When flying a carbon airframe, I think it is a good idea to run the second receiver. RF connection is my primary concern, not the telemetry.

Wiring is pretty simple, connect the Plus, Minus and SBus Out on the M+ to the Plus, Minus and SBUS IN on the GR8. The manuals for both receivers should show you these connections.
