Just for anyone sitting on the fence between OpenTx and Ethos, just my opinion. My journey started with and couple of Taranis radios end up with a 12S. This was supposed to be their flag ship radio, but FrSky passed it up and came out with their X20 series which did not support OpenTx. I felt betrayed and decided to go with an “established” manufacturer, bought an expensive NX-10. Used it for about 3 month, could not believe how limited it was, could not add sound files, pictures and software was not up to par. That was a big mistake sold it.
Purchased X20 adjusted to Ethos, the radio is current smart tech and the software is controlled by FrSky. In my judgement I believe this is the future for FrSky. Nice to be at one with the radio again, a lot more features, 150.00 dollars cheaper then a Nx-10 and a lot more channels. Lesson learned the hard way.
