What was the “Hack” to 2.4 Ghz
And what was the system it “hacks” to?

Actually I want to convert the Multiplex EVO 9 to 2.4 Ghz first... then telemetry should I need it. I do sailplanes...so telemetry would ve altimeter , variometer , cimpas heading and gps signal

EVO 9 TX is a free unit in good shape... needs new TX batteries but other than that it is on 72mhz, a chalenge I am willing to take on.... I like Multiplex gear in general.

Don't think you will be able to get full load of telemetry into the older radio, but it can be converted to 2.4 with the FRSky module, and you will have some basic telemetry that way.
