Multiplex Blizzard - 2026 electronics package?

Hi All,

I lucked into a NIB Multiplex Blizzard and I've mostly finished assembling it. I've been agonizing over the electronics for a while. I'd like to configure the plane to be close to "max speed" without entering insane territory and causing the plane fail due to excess speed / flutter.

I don't have any experience with this airframe, but it is a foamy after all, so I'm guessing 120mph give or take is close to the upper bound. Wanted to check with the experts over here.

Can anyone tell me a good motor, esc, voltage combo for this plane? Got the plane for a very good price, so budget is not an issue. Also, I am willing to buy new batteries if needed just for this plane.

I prefer to fly hotliner style (brief bursts of violent motor power, then glide) vs pylon style, but I'll fly this plane however it wants to be flown.

Thanks!!

Jarron is on a short vacation, he should be back on Friday and should be able to give you some suggestions. (He may be a bit buried though..) Pretty sure he had a Blizzard.
