Multifunction Switch Acting Up

Delta

New User
The left side multifunction switch on my X20S (bought from Aloft in Mar., 2022) is getting a bit squirrely, and actually, it's been doing it's own thing from almost after I bought it. It's just now getting worse.
At different times, I have to press really hard to get it to go to a menu, or rock it a little to the side, and sometimes, nothing I do will get it to go into a menu (specifically in this case, the DISP menu). Then with a little more fiddling, it'll finally react.
I do not believe that it is the plastic actuator that sits above the switch and has the labels on it (MDL/SYS/DISP/RTN) , it is the actual electrical component that is wired to the circuit board.
I don't see a replacement for this switch offered on either the Aloft site or the FrSky company site.
I am very competent with soldering and working on circuit boards (my other hobby is restoring vintage stereo components) so all I need is the switch itself that I can install here at home.
Are replacement switches available?

Sorry, I'm not sure what switches it uses. But they are more than licky going to be SMD switches. Are you OK with SMD work? If you are not comfortable with this, then I would suggest you back up the radio via Ethos Suite, and then send it into FrSky in Brea California for repair. They do a good job and think they are pretty quick too. Might want to reach out to them, and they can probably give you some more details. They may well have some of the switches available, if they do not have the switches, then they may want to swap the mainboard. If they are willing to do that on warranty, then great, otherwise I'd source a switch and solder it in.

I have done a bit of SMD work so I'm not intimidated by replacing it myself. I just need to know what it is. I think what I might do when I get a chance is to open it up and see if I can find any ID on the switch.
If I can, I'd be willing to bet that DigiKey, Mouser, or Newark would have an exact match.
If not, then I'll see if I can get it from Brea.
If that's a dead end, I guess I'd just send it to Brea and see what they say about the board itself.
Thanks. I appreciate the nudge in the right direction.

Yeah, it should be easy to locate the switch itself. If you run into any dead ends, let me know and I'll see what I can extract. :)
