Basic redundant RX scenario to this point has been a PRO plus second RX connected via SBUS. So...
  1. Can a TD RX link with a PRO for redundancy? (In this case, on the 2.4 band only) Does Tandem RX and Archer Access play ball together?
Splitting output channels across multiple RXs...
  1. Is this accomplished by reassigning output channels at each RX?
    1. RX One: Ail-1, Ele-1, Thr, Rud, ...
    2. RX Two: Ail-2, Ele-2, Flap-1, Flap-2, ...
  2. Must these RXs be connected by SBUS; or is it driven at the Bind level
Stabilization and Multiple RXs
  • Based on the above, I assume stabilized outputs be attached to any of the multiple RXs? Meaning only one (1) RX is S-series is required?
I have not run multiple RXs before so I am trying to understand what configuration options are available. I know the radio will bind to three RXs.

Folks on RCG informed me that Tandem and Access are two different animals. So I guess we wait until they offer a stabilized TD. Perhaps an RB 30 could provide the stabilization.

I now understand about splitting channels across multiple RXs. It is as I described and driven at the Bind / RF level (no SBus connection needed)

For stabilization, I was informed the SR must be the last in the chain of RXs.
