Motor beeps when connected

Brand new to this hobby. I just bound (binded?) my FrSKY X10/X10S with OpenTX to my X4R reciever. I'm using the ESC connected to the battery for power to the receiver. A servo in channel 2 works fine when I move the right stick left/right. The throttle is connected to ch3. When I connect the motor, I get a loud beeping from the motor.
Maybe I could come by the store sometime for help with the initial setup? Are there specific times that are good? Thanks!
Joe.

I figured it out. I found in the radio settings that throttle is on ch4. So, I switched that wire and it works!
I noted on the store website that the showroom is closed... Do you ever have workshops or times when I can come get advice? Or maybe a link to a local club (I'm in the East-Bay).
Thanks!
Joe.

Hey Joe,

Come on by the new shop if you like, and we can give a hand, and double check your plane before flying. I know there are a number of flying sites out your way, and I highly encourage you to check them out and maybe join a club. You will learn a ton, and have a bunch of new flying buddies, probably for life. :) AMA is a good spot to find the local clubs:

That's not mandatory but in my case I treat my channel sequence in all my model very serious. And on mine airplanes I Do AETR
1 ailerons 2 elevator 3 throttle 4 rudder but again it's not mandatory and you can use whatever sequence you like to use but in my case it's helps me keep every model organized as I like.
