One of the other threads got me going on some classics I have that I can let go to a new home, and also some other planes that are available. I'll need to get some photos.

I have probably the oldest surviving Contender at home. It is the wooden fuselage version. I could be talked out of it for the right price. It is rough, will need a rebuild to get her back to flight status, but don't recall any wrecks on her. She probably last flew in the 90's by a previous owner. My wood Turbo is not for sale. LOL

I do have an "ARF" CR Renegade..? Brand new in box. I think it is a Renegade..? I might be talked out of it if someone guaranteed they would bring it to the Sunset FlyIn some year.

We have a pretty decent Ninja in the shop, think it was one of the ARFs that used to be available. Someone removed the nose block for an electric conversion, otherwise pretty much like new. Don't think it has flown. I'm tempted to keep it for Sunset.

While I'm at it, I have an unflown Mini Mach in white and blue. Never finished putting it together. Top hinged ailerons, but think I clearanced them for better down travel. Send me an offer. Should be in very good shape, and think it may have KST servos?? I'll have to dust it off and confirm. We can't get these made anymore, they are a very good plane, 66" wing span as I recall. Think this is a photo of the actual plane I have.

Hmm, one more. I have a Carbon Vento, this is an old school 3 meter ship. I wrecked at the ISR several years ago and killed the fuselage. Got a brand new fuselage for it. Pretty sure it has a full load of KST servos. Will need to build out the new fuselage. RG15 airfoil, really nice flying planes with no bad habits, not very fast, but a lot of fun. GREAT first 3 meter.

I'll try and bring some of these in to the office if anyone is interested in them and take some photos.

I think we have a couple of DLGs in inventory that took some shipping damage. Let us know if you are looking for something like this and we will see if we can make you a deal.

I may have some others in the collection, so may add some more in the coming days.

Click on my name to the left here. <--- It will have an option to start a conversation. That is the the same as private message.

I'll try to bring it in tomorrow and get you some photos. As I recall the fuselage is not at all pretty but is in one piece and I think the wings are in good shape. The nice thing about the wood is it is easy to work on and make like new again.

Pretty sure it is glass as that is what I prefer most of the time. That is not a current picture of it. LOL Will bring the planes in tomorrow and try to get some photos up.

Sorry guys - I need to grab these planes from my house and transport them to the office on a day when the dogs are not travelling with me.. They are very good at stomping on planes. :(

The boss is always happy if I am removing aircraft from the house. LOL

Actually she is super cool about the planes. She keeps telling me we need to have one on display in the house, but how could I pick only one? ?‍♂️

@Wayne Here is Ginger, my work buddy, waiting for the next 3m 'old school' glider project. The 4.5m SB-9 behind her is almost done. :)

Ok - I got the hint.. :)

SOLD

First up is the CR Contender. As mentioned this is an old wooden version. I have never seen another wood version. Later years they were replaced with a fiberglass fuselage. The nice thing about wood is they are easy to repair, and this one does need some love, she is pretty ugly right now, but should be able to be brought back to excellent shape. Wings are in very good shape, one smallish ding as shown in the photo. I have not yet found the steel wing joiner, but pretty sure I have it. I think it is a 1/4" steel, so nothing fancy. Old school servos still installed. I bought this plane with the plan to restore her and put her back to flight in my golden years.. LOL She is one of a kind as far as I know.

If you are willing to put some work into her, she could be grand again!

Mini Mach!! I hate to let this one go, these are very nice planes. Everyone that has owned one has loved it. Well rounded and no bad habits in the air. This is an early glass version with the top hinged flaps, so they do not have a ton of down throw (see photo), but this plane is pretty light, and best on those days when the wind is moderate to light. Partial build with KST servos in the fuselage. Need to track down the ball links for the V-tail, should be here in my office. Does not come with wing servos as they were never installed.

Onto the Vento!

This plane is a copy of the Blade XL (I think that is the one..) and I dare says it is better as it is far stiffer and has dual wing joiners. It has a nice RG-15 airfoil and just loves to fly. Sure it is big and old school, but she is a plane that loves to please, and no bad habits. I failed this plane when I asked her to be a racer and put a TON on tungsten in the fuselage and flew her hard at the ISR one year. I was in the process of passing 2 planes in a corner when I pulled to hard in the rotor and she spun over and smacked the ground. This is a classic rotor that actually has a name as it has grabbed many planes over the years. Fly smoothly through, no problems, but try to fly to tight a corner and you will pay the price. Damage is mostly limited to the yellow fuselage in front of the wing. Comes with a spare red fuselage. The Yellow fuselage could be fixed, or switch over to the yellow. Your choice. Slight ding to one of the wings, see photo, and think the rest is in good shape. Red Fuselage comes with new tail pins. Pretty sure it has KST servos in the wings, not sure if the fuselage servos have survived. Oh yeah, and she has a lot of ice plant juice on the wings, needs a good cleaning.

''Really'' like that Mini Mach, but it's to bad the wing isn't 2 piece.
Been down sizing my larger stuff,, as the wife & I are going to go full time in a 5th wheel ''home on wheels'', within the next few years,, & permanently hit the road.

Hey Wayne,

I'm interested in your 'ARF' Renegade.

Can you send or post pictures of it?

Thanks

Keeping the CR. :) Sorry.

I do have a Corsa 2.75 meter RTF with KST servos for sale. She is fast and fun.

I also have a Nann Tracer 3 meter for sale, also RTF and KST servos.
