Mini voltage sensor polarity threat fix

The per-cell smart port lipo voltage sensor (link) is only ten bucks and weighs 2.8g, pretty damn impressive and useful, except for one flaw, no polarity protection unlike its big brother; so if you plug in your battery's balance connector the wrong way which I'd do all the time, you could fry your receiver as Aloft's product page warns.

In the rcgroups Tundra thread I found two a fix allowing you to plug in packs of however many cells:

fix #1 https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showpost.php?p=39417309&postcount=20306 (ehh never mind that one actually)

fix #2 https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showpost.php?p=39436809&postcount=20374

Pretty inventive and easy to make yourself. Pic attached.

Cheers, Doug

So after seeing this fix someone came up with (GFergy on rcgroups), no longer afraid, I ordered one of these instead of the larger one with the display as it's smaller and lighter (and cheaper), as this fix looked easy and that it would solve the problem while letting me use three to six cells.

All you need is a knife or boxcutter and the balance extension connector in the picture, you slice off the edge, slide it on the voltage sensor, done. The pins on the device are snug and hold the connector, no glueing needed.

Wayne, consider either asking Frsky to make this simple modification until they fix this a different way, or before shipping, add it on yourself as not everyone has this connector lying around. Maybe spray paint it glossy black...
