Mini Q

I leave mine in the plane. They only have a little carbon tow used in key areas of these models. If you look inside you can see some where it is not against the black paint. I have never had an issue with carbon tow messing with reception, but I fly FrSky and it is far better than some other brands to start with. Best to keep the active part of the antenna away from the tow.

Balanced at 23mm. So when I add the propellor blades I'll be ever so slightly nose heavy. Good enough for the maiden. Hopefully next week Friday...

Don't mess with the CG - nail it. These planes are not very tolerant of the CG being off more than about 2mm.

Maiden went great, but she was very squirrelly! After a few circuits I landed, and moved the battery 2mm forwards, lowered the rates, and increased the Expo (which stood at 0%...)
By now the wind had picked up, and was much stronger, with serious gusts. A very short flight, just to make sure we had it right. Seemed much better now, but we'll try again when the wind is more agreeable.
Definitely not underpowered, even on a 3S setup. Launched at 3/4 throttle and never needed more!

Hello everyone. I'm new. please tell me is the Corona DS 239MG servo suitable for the mini Q aircraft?
Hmm, I'd suggest something smaller and with no gear play. Here is a couple of options:

Best:

Pretty good:

The first option is $40 each, and the second is just $13.75.

If you have the Corona already, check and see if they will fit. I think the 10mm thickness is starting to push out, and the overall size might be a tough fit for the servo bay.
