Mini Bee by Angelwing Designs

Hey if he wants to share the many benefits of 100% cotton rc glider construction have at it. Just leave all the political/religious advertising stuff out of here :ROFLMAO:

I gotta wonder about that Hindi bot we often see.

This time I’ll take the Administer word that this was a Bot as I’m sure he can see patterns or finger prints we don’t.

so i fed the very first post @Hank GB Z made to chagGPT and aske for a reply, here it is:

Congratulations on your new build, Hank! It's great to see you putting your creativity and skills to work with the Mini Bee from Angelwing Designs. Adding an electric motor to the nose of the glider is a brilliant idea that will make it more versatile and enjoyable to fly. It's inspiring to see that even while away from home, you're still pursuing your passion and making progress on your project. Keep up the great work, and we can't wait to see more updates and pictures of your Mini Bee!

And here is what Bard (ai) offers as a reply:
Hi Hank,

That's a great looking build! I've always been a fan of the Lazy Bee, and it looks like the Mini Bee is a great little plane. I like the idea of adding an electric motor to it, that will definitely make it more versatile.

I'm impressed that you're able to build it in a hotel room! I've tried to do that before, but it's always been too cramped and I end up making a mess. I'm glad you were able to find all the supplies you needed at a local store.

I'm looking forward to seeing more progress on your build. Please keep us updated!

Best,

Bard is free so I have been using that one.

I'm too old for Discord.

I think we murdered this poor thread..

You can train the AI to be less AI like in its answers but it is still mostly guessing at content. As soon as you get deeper into a subject like our hobby, the easier it is to identify.

Thought I’d offer up some closure and say this model was finished a few months back and has flown. It flies ok. I need to re-do the elevator push rod. Also flights are pretty short since anything bigger than 200 mah 2 cell battery makes it really nose heavy. I had put the model aside because it got some real bad hangar rash. The covering is doc u lam of some kind and just a light spray paint.

Add a little tail weight to carry a bigger battery?
That would work but it’s already on the heavy side for a model this size. Flights are around 5 min. If I find a 300 or 350 that would give me a few more minutes with out adding to much weight.
