Midwest Slope Challenge (WOW) ODR One Design Racer

Agree on the fastest line which is why I like a bit of sweep to the LE. It seems to make the straight line flight a bit more stable, requiring fewer control inputs.

I blew it on my last race (finishing 3rd) because I got antsy and kept anticipating the turn rather than just flying straight to the corner until my caller tapped my shoulder. That made the difference between 2nd and 3rd. I knew it, but failed to chill for two of 5 laps. With this batch of RC racing pilots, two nervous on the sticks laps costs you. But that is also what makes it so much fun.

Now that MOM racing is gaining interest on the west coast, thought I'd bump this thread about our ODR racing at Wings Over Wilson (WOW upside down is MOM). For ODR we go 4 up at a time, but we also have an Open class for one on one racing. Fun. The Canuck can supply ODR kits or parts. If your limitation is 60" span with no other specs, a Magnus is a good option.
