I'm a big fan of smaller power systems for gliders. So I fully approve.
I think a number of folks do add a lot of power to the Electric Magnus as it does so well with it. I have to admit that I would probably follow this trend as it makes a great ripper.
With this said, the pylon racer we sell, X-ray, I like it with a smaller and lighter power system.
It really doesn't take a lot of power as both of these airframes are very clean.
