No rudder? Looks like when I build mine, the elevator servo will be going in the tail! Yes, it will be a bit heavier, but much stronger to DS with! Muhahahahaha

I think the hot ticket might be some Bluebirds we have on the way. Basically the same units as used in the prototype. Should be here in a week or so.

Just got mine today and am so excited to start the build! Plane came packaged better than I have seen in my 15 years of models. Every part was wrapped in a foam liner, then bubble wrapped, then placed in a sturdy cardboard box, then corner protectors added to the box! FedEx coulda drop kicked this thing and I’m sure it’d survive. ? I loosely put it together to get a few pics. Already made a dumba** move on my part trying to slide in the elevator for the picture and started to scratch it. Guess I got too eager to remember to debur the tail area like it mentions in this thread. Oh well, hopefully that will be the “first scratch” to get it over with ?‍

I also believe Wayne said this orange one is the only one in the country as of yet. So I’m glad I’ll get to have that story tied to the plane. Maybe it was a joke... either way, the orange is the perfect shade and even matches my F3A Passport ?

Ok. Started my build. I am going after super strength so I can DS this beast as well. I got the KST X10’s to fit in the flaps and the exact same size King Max CLS0911W’s to fit in the aileron pocket. I am hoping the linkage will work through the wing on the ailerons, but I might have to do the same thing as the D60 and put the aileron linkage on the bottom.
