Los Banos closure

Any updates on the event? I was near there Saturday and checked it out. There is a roadblock about 100 yards before the glider area gate with rangers. Their "orders" are that nobody is allowed past the roadblock and that everything including the flying site are closed. They said they have not been informed of any approved events yet. I was there at their shift change so there were two. They even have their own porta potty. Lol

Finally got out to get some action pics of the Scythe on the slope. Los Banos was ripping, and the Scythe was loving it with 3.5 pounds of ballast!

That was me and it was posted November 2024 … Banos is still closed as far as I know.
