I bought two G-RX6 receivers for FrSKY. I can not either to work on the Aileron servo. I am using a Taranis Plus transmitter. Can anyone help.

so you plug in the servos via a y connector or are you trying to install each servo separately using another channel (5-8) check the polarity of your cable plug the servos into a different channel to test them if all the other channels are working ie rudder, elevator ETC then it maybe a connection is reversed

If you use a non G series receiver does the aileron channel function. What I am asking could you have a programing error in your transmitter. Which channel is the aileron servo connected to on your receiver. Do you see a blue LED on your G-RX6.

Couple of things to check:

Does the radio channel monitor screen show movement for that channel? If not, then you have a programming issue.

Does a different servo work if plugged in directly? If it does, then you have a dead servo or a wiring issue.

If another servo didn't work, but the radio shows movement on the channel monitor, then go into the first screen of the model setup (OpenTX) and make sure you have set up enough channels for the receiver to feed the channel in question. (If you have set the output to only channels 1-4, but you need 5 channels, then you need to increase the channel output on this screen.

Check these items and let us know what you find.

The plug in for the alieron is usally #1 on the reciever but that is correct if you have the radio set up as AETR (aileron-elevator-throttle-rudder ) in the radio other wise it's on what ever you have setup for the controls

Sorry it took so long to reply, my internet service shut off my E-mail off because of too much spam. My transmitter is set up as AETR and I have checked the page on my transmitter that shows if the sticks are working, and all of them move. I have reprogramed this model twice in this transmitter and once in another transmitter. I have also tried a number of servos in this receiver and in different channel ports. No luck with the aileron stick on the transmitter. I bought two 6ch receivers, so I tried the second one, no luck. I am stumped. I also tried other planes that I fly on these transmitters and they work fine.

Wayne, yes the radio channel monitor screen shows movement for that channel. No a number of different don't work in this channel they do work in the other channels. I have programed this model twice in this transmitter and once in another transmitter the results are the same. I bought two receivers at the same time, so I tried the second receiver and I get the same results. So there something different about these receivers?

PS. I have installed a 8 channel receiver in the plane and everything works fine. Why?

Ok - Well with what you are saying it sounds like you have 2 bad receivers. We almost never get an issue like this, so for 2 of them to come along seems odd. Send us an email and we will send out a free return label if you bought the receivers from us in the last year. We will check them out and can either refund or replace them depending on what you prefer and what we find with a little testing. I am really curious to see what we find on these.

I am really sorry for the headache these little buggers gave you!
