The Jenny Stick is a Slow Stick style plane, stylized in the Curtis Jenny theme using the same chord and tail feather area as the original GWS version. The wingspan is 38" and flying weight comes in just over a pound.
It's an easy plane to build and fly and how I have the dihedral set up it can handle some winds as well without getting batted around like the original GWS version. This was the first plane I designed for my laser cutter, it continues to be the most popular of my lines I carry. Some refinements were added after the original prototype was built, very little was needed, showing the stock compliment and original plane, covered in blue tinted Ultracoat. It takes some pretty standard Park Flyer gear and can handle quite a range of them. Ailerons can be added but not mandatory, thus I planned ahead for that upgrade in the original build keeping the dihedral as shallow as possible while still being able to fly with just tail feather control.
The list of gear used on mine and it had plenty of power to spare:
2212 KV1400 Motor
9x6 Propeller
9g Micro Servos
30A ESC
7.4V 1100mah Li Po battery
I supply all of the laser cut parts in balsa and thin ply along with 1.5 mil "not mm" clear Doculam, a durable covering that applies just like Monocoat. I also include 3d printed out of ASA control horns and printed in card stock sheets wing plan.
You will need the electronics, a sheet of 1/16" x 3" x 3' to rip down into strips for the wing spars, leading/trailing edge, a strip of 1/32" for the leading edge sheeting if you don't want to soak some of your 1/16" stock to wrap around it and piano wire for the push rods and landing gear and three 1/4" dowels for the fuselage to complete the kit.
Aloft Hobbies is my exclusive supplier for the balsa used on all of my kits so one is indirectly buying from them through me upon with this, it's also something to keep in mind when you are placing your balsa order with them should you opt to get this kit to add a some balsa to your order. I'm offering this for $45.00 with free shipping to the lower 48, Alaska, Hawaii is on a case by case basis and I can handle international orders, again on a case by case basis to cover the extra shipping charges. More details are shown here https://happyrcflyer.com/jenny-stick/ it's set up with my Square account for purchasing but can also accept Paypal or check or money order or cash for those that are local to me for pick up in person.
I'm limited to only 10 photo's per post, additional ones can be added upon request. With this listing just as the rest I post, just showing interest and intention to purchase helps on my end when I do my next order of balsa from Aloft so I can keep some extra stock on hand for you. I'm cutting these up regularly now but will be needing to order more from them estimate later next week anyway as of the date of this post/ad.
