Is it many in Aloft forum who remember the days when it was the daily Radio :)

One of the founders of our RC club (Tórshavnar RC-Felag) founded in 1976 brought his first Radio as a gift to the club house and it is on display now :)
He thought it was more useful to be her than to be in the closet at home.

If anyone has interesting story I would like to hear it

I had a similar radio from Futaba. I finally let it go about 8 years ago when I moved a few hundred miles away, just didn't have a use for it and no space in the moving truck.

My very first radio was one of these:

This was a 2 channel radio, each stick only moves in one direction. Rudder on right, and elevator on the left. It consumed batteries at a rate that exceeded my income back then!

After a bit my parents took pity and I found this under the Xmas tree:

4 channels and nicads! Game changer!! I flew that radio for a very long time. No servo reversing, just 4 channels and 4 trims. She was great!
