Initial Settings

Just wanting to make sure I've gotten everything how it should be to not fry anything.

E Flite Power 60b (470kv 12 pole outrunner) in a 2.0M T-28 Trojan.

Turned off sine, everything else looks good, motor spins up and down fine in the plane.

I just ordered 4 more Sequres from Aloft today. Going all in on them. Probably going to order the big ESC soon for the OMP Bighorn.

Also telemetry working great tested in ELRS for giggles but going to use with FrSky TD and it works great with S.Port too.

One thing is the active freewheeling still feels like there is a slight brake. HobbyWing ESCs and other ones just freespin with the throttle all the way down. Is there a way to full unlock it when it's at idle or no? I thought setting damp on and sine to 0 would do this.

I don't think it did anything. Sine was already set to 0 which should have disabled it. No idea but its fine. The motor does freewheel just has a slight brake on it. Settings are all the same as posted above except when complimentary PWM is unchecked the sine stuff and the duty brake are greyed out.

Just a small nit, not really a complaint at all because its doesn't affect anything.

I'm transitioning all my electrics over to these right away. Absolutely incredible for what you pay and what you get. If I was to buy all the sensors independently from FrSky and then also a Castle or HobbyWing equivalent ESC it would be 3-4x as much and add weight and complication and a jumble of wires. This is one shot one kill.

That's not even getting into the weight and size.

I guess if I did have a complaint it would be the thin wires and the XT60 plugs. That needs to be at least 10AWG and XT90 or EC5. Easy enough to DIY tho.

I'm trying to setup a another one now and just updated to the latest firmware and it won't let me pick CRSF as an input. Only servo. No idea.

I go to select anything but servo and I click it and then it just jumps back to servo. Selecting the input ch1 does nothing either.

edit: found out these ESCs just can't do it. ESD needs to have a PA2 input. These have PB4.
