IDS SERVO MTS

Had a little problem with a IDS X10 Mini foam mount, Laurie from Aloft got it handled right away, Thanks ! I've had some time to " tinker " with these mounts and here's what I found. 2mm Button Head Socket Screws ( Micro Fastener ) fit the holes in these mounts perfectly. I used the 2 x 8mm for the bearing holder ( comes flush with bottom of the mount ) the stock screw is a little short. For the servo itself I used the 2 x 10 mm and cut off about 3m, if you don't want to cut, you can just use the 2 x 6 mm. No need to do anything to the holes just put a little candle wax on the threads. If you've ever made one of the servo holes too big you can use a 2.5 mm button head . I use a touch of thin CA where the hole is. then run a 2.5 mm tap in and it's fixed

I've found the instructions for the other end often lacking. This thread has some good information on how to set up the control surface side of thing.

All the best,
Konrad
