I can not get my Taranis x9 Lite to show up in beta flight

I am using a frsky rx6r receiver with a frsky taranis x9 lite transmitter. The receiver has been registered and bound to my transmitter and shows telemetry and that it is connected correctly. When I connect my drones FC to betaflight everything works as expected, but I cannot get my x9 lite transmitter to connect or show any input. If needed I can CLI dump my betaflight settings or send any pictures needed for troubleshooting. Any help is greatly appreciated, as I am very new to the hobby.

Drone: tyro 129 kit from aliexpress
Transmitter: Frsky taranis x9 lite
reciever: Frsky rx6r

You need to configure the flight controller to see the inputs the receiver. Under the "configuration" tab you should see drop downs in the "receiver" box. You will need to select the option that has "FrSky" and on the second drop down select "SBUS" provided you have already configured the RX6R to output SBUS - without any changes it will be outputting PWM, which is useless in this situation. This is usually why people use the XM+ for quads as it only has one signal channel that from factory outputs SBUS.

If that doesn't make any values show up in the receiver tab, you will need to check your ports. BE VERY CAREFUL: do not touch the USB VCP port - this is the USB connection, and if you turn it off, you will be forced to un-brick your flight controller.

Try turning on the Uarts individually, saving, and check the receiver tab if you don't know what Uart your receiver is soldered to.

I think it is currently configured for PWM but I'm not sure. I have added a picture of my FC and how my receiver is connected to it.

would I need to solder a wire from my receiver SBUS output to a UART RX pad on my flight controller to enable sbus?

Looks like you have connected channel-1 PWM to the FC, so this won't work. You need to take S-Bus out on the small white connector along with +5 and GND and connect this to the S-Bus pads on the FC. Then configure the Uart to be S-Bus input. Non of the PWM connector are used or needed. The only other connection is the single wire S-Port wire also on the white connector to the FC Telemetry output.

What he said, need to get the Sbus Output from the small white connector, consult the directions from the receiver. (I don't recall your receiver having the option of an Sbus out on the PWM pins like some of the receivers can, but maybe I am wrong).
Instructions:
You will use the little pig tail that comes with the receiver and use the +, -, and "Sbus_out" pins to connect to your flight controller.

I was able to get my RX connected through my flight controllers SBUS pad and it was fully functional. When I checked on it this morning it appears that my SBUS pad has separated from my flight controller so I no longer have a way to connect my RX there anymore. Would you suggest trying to repair/replace the trace for my SBUS pad or would I be able to wire to a RX pad on the flight controller instead?
