So, I just got my X20S and I'd like to update the F/W on my R-XSR to ACCESS. How to I update this RX? Also, I see on the FrSky website there has been a number of updates to the F/W do I need to install all of the versions or just install the latest?
Down load the R-XSR firmware from the FRsky web site. https://www.frsky-rc.com/r-xsr/ I have created a folder on my radio SD card called "flashing firmware" Just for an organised folder structure I copy the downloaded file to this directory in sub folders with the receiver types. You are then able to flash this file to the receiver using the S-port pins on the receiver right from your transmitter.
If you bought the radio from us, it should be pretty current with firmwares already, a new version of Ethos did just release, and it is worth switching over as it fixes a bug that will drain the little memory battery inside.
Thank you Henny, I did find a video of someone using a X9 Lite, and I was able to follow along and was able to figure out to made it work with my X20S.
Wayne, The TX I bought from you is has x.14 on it, I noticed github had x.17 available when I looked the other day. But my original question was I had a R-XSR that had ACCST F/W and I wanted to try ACCESS on the RX.
