How to slow down a offset?

How can I slow down the application of an offset?

I am trying to set up Crow on my ailerons.

I have an offset that looks at the flap switch and puts in a 30% offset when the flaps are down. This parts works fine.

I want the offset to track the flap movement (it take a couple seconds for the flaps to move down). As it is now the offset takes full effect instantly. I tried "Slow" , but that does nothing.

I tried to use the flap channel output as the mix input, but that did not work.

Any ideas how I can make my offset track flap movement?

Haha, I just answered your question over on RCGroups :) but I will throw it in here for completeness.
Rather than having a fixed offset which you try to time to your flaps, I would use the flap channel as a source and add a mix based on that. Besides not having to work out any timing, this allows you to adjust your offset curve so that it works for all flap positions, which would allow you to have variable flaps.
