How to attach carbon faceplate to X9E?

What is the best method as far as adhesive and getting good alignment? Thanks folks.

I assume these are the after market plates under the switches. Guide pins through the switch holes. The plates should have adhesive applied.

Not that I can tell. This is the plate that Aloft offered for the X9E.

I don't recall using any adhesive, but Chris says we used a bit of spray tack (contact cement) on the back of the carbon. 3M Super 77 or similar.

So the switch bezel is the main attachment for the Aloft carbon cover plate?

Konrad, we sold a lot and don't recall any complaints. I think we were slightly off on a measurement.

Keep in mind the others options on the market were vinyl stickers, ours was actual carbon.

I'm sure you did! Again I wasn't making a value judgement. Just trying to mention/find how they were attached.

Yah, I recall it being a REALLY fine mist of spray adhesive... Our Shop E still has the first one on it and still looks great! I think Sean installed it.
