I tried the replacement X10S E Gimbal springs and they are LESS STIFF (STRONG) than the OEM springs!
I measured the wire of both OEM and NEW and the wire Diam. is the same, 0.010". The Diam. of the
coils however are not! The OEM measures 0.120" and the NEW 0.127 which makes it LESS Stiff.
So back to the OEM!
No there is not enough room ( space ) for doubling the springs.
