Horus X10 Throttle moving ailerons too

I have a Horus X10 which I have been flying for years. It has been a great radio but just went flying and I have a problem. When I move the throttle stick it also moves the ailerons. I have checked all mixes, functions, Input and output maps and all seems normal. From the monitor page when I move the throttle stick the aileron channel also moves. I have noticed as well that when I move the throttle stick on the input map page that I get both J1 and J3 when moving just the throttle stick. Seems like the radio is seeing the throttle stick as both J1 and J3 but I have no idea why. The only thing I have done since the last flying season is set up a simulator with the XSR Sim and I have used an orange external module for flying some spectrum bind and fly. All my planes in the radio are now behaving this way so it seems that for some reason the radio is seeing the left stick as both J3 and J1. I reflashed the firmware with no change. Anyone have any ideas?

I took the back cover off and disconnected the battery and now it seems to be fine. Any ideas what could have caused this?

Please check the wire harnesses for that gimbal. Make sure the wires are not getting pulled when moving the gimbal and make sure all plugs are fully seated. We have seen similar issues with gimbal wiring in the past and it was usually a loos plug, but this has not be an issue with the X10.

Thanks for the quick reply. I did remove and reinstall the connector when I disconnected the battery. The gimbal connector was tight but maybe that was the issue. I will keep an eye on it and let you know if it comes back. It certainly made flying interesting.

Could have been a little corrosion on the connector and moving it fixed the issue.. Just a wild guess.

You used the term "followed" the throttle stick
I have seen several that jumped at some point in the travel of a stick, all were traced to broken wire near the solder joint with the vinyl insulation holding the wire ends together.

Gently pulling the wire with tweezers or a hemostat found them
