Horus 10x, wanting to switch to Ethos, how do I proceed.

Back in 2017 or 18 I purchased a Horus 10x at the West coast festival fly in in Merced. (Not the S version). I have Open Tx on it, but hoping to find something a little more intuitive for adding, setting up and tuning planes. OpenTX is super powerful and was good coming from a Multiplex radio system but… its not easy to use and when you only add a plane every 3-6 months and beyond, retraining is kind of a pain. The menu system in Ethos looks a little easier to use.
If I were to change to Ethos, what would I need to do to get the Horus up to spec? Sounds like there is a card or board or something that needs to be added prior and then a series of flashes etc. Can you suggest a step by step written for a semi novice?

You will want one of these:

FrSky X10(S) and X12S ACCESS ISRM RF Upgrade Board

This board replaces the existing internal RF board in your Horus X12S, X10 or X10S. It adds the ability to run in either ACCESS or ACCST D16 mode. It will require an additional antenna for the X10 radios, do not use it with out an antenna attached to each of the 3 antenna locations.Specialized...
