Yes, less than half the weight but also 1/2 to 1/3 the wing area.
So it is! That helps explanes why it flew so much better than the Hobie Hawk. In my mind the Windfree had a very narrow chord.Wait, What?
The Hobie has 590 sq.in. and the Windfree has 560 sq.in.
And yet your car has a Toyota badge on it…Not for me. Well, unless I've signed a marketing contract with Hobie. Like we say in auto racing nobody rides for free!
I also want to knowAre you gonna re-cover the whole wing? As your friend I think it will be better for your mental health to just patch it.
Am so looking for a HH dorsal fin assy, if you have one you’ll sell contact me please!!!, avi8torboi@ yahoo. com, thx!!Here are some of the dorsal references attached. BTW, I have a brand new unpainted fuse and the dorsal is not ABS, it's poly-carbonate. The image with the dorsal split into different components are the prototypes made by Tony. If you need, I also have the dorsal .stl files that I got from the rcgroups....
The R/S radio from the early 1970's is for the Hawks I'm fixing, but with slight change in frequency ?
