HobbyCNC 4 Axis Hotwire

I’ve got a homebuilt 4 axis hotwire cutter that I used successfully for several years. After moving to New Hampshire from New Mexico, I can’t get any of the axes to move. The stepper motor “lock” as they should when I turn on the power. Does anyone gave any experience with the HobbyCNC controller board?… with Mach3 software… or with Gilles Muller GMFC software? I’d really like to isolate the problem before I start throwing money at it…. Thanks in advance!

I built one of those many many years ago, pretty sure all info related to it has spilled out on my ears by now.

There may be some folks on RC Groups that could shed some light..? Probably best to find a thread on this subject over there and add to it.
