Help! TX12 and FRsky XM+ 2.4 GHz Micro Receiver

I am trying to flash the frsky micro receiver with the tx12 transmitter and I am having a lot of trouble. I already have the firmware downloaded onto the transmitter, but I cannot figure out how to flash. I tried following a video where someone used a tx16 but I am getting a warning saying "FW Update Error Not Responding." Any help would be much appreciated!

Be sure that you have the pinout correct. On some radios it is different than it is on the receiver...
