help need on binding newly bought FRSKY G-RX6 vario receiver on X9D+2019 Taranis

New User
Hi :
I have Taranis X9D+2019 radio and bought 4 receiver G-RX6 from Aloft Hobbies.
This Taranis is ACCESS version , the following steps I have tried , various firmware upgrade , binding still failed :
1) Taranis original firmware ==> failed to bind with out of the box G-RX6
2) Taranis firmware upgrade OpenTX 2.3.14 otx (1e09791a) , 2021-08-02 , EEPR : 219, Internal module : ISRM -S-X9 1.1.0/1.1.3 FCC also failed to bind :
a) out of box G-RX6
b) G-RX6 firmware upgraded with ACCST 2019-06-28 version 190628
c) G-RX6 firmware upgraded with ACCESS 2019-06-30 version 20200630

How I bind ACCESS :
a) On the radio, choose a model , choose ACCESS , choose BIND. On the receiver , press FS button and plug in power , green and red are solid light

How I bind ACCST :
a) On the radio, choose a model , choose ACCST D16 , choose BIND. On the receiver , press FS button and plug in power , green and red are solid light .

Did I miss any step or any firm compatibility issue ? I tested all 4 G-RX6 receivers. Only upgrade the firmware on two receivers. The other two receivers left as original firmware for binding tests. Despite all these, I was not able to successfully bind the receivers . It is so frustrated for me .

Please help. Thanks in advance.

cheers

I would upgrade your radio's ISRM and receivers to V2 firstly. After that, do the binding again, and make sure you hold down the F/S button a little bit longer than you may be used to.

Your Taranis from the firmware you indicate is the old ISRM RF module firmware. Download the new version ( V2) V2.1.6 from here. https://www.frsky-rc.com/taranis-x9d-plus-2019/

Copy the unzipped file to your SD and flash the internal module. You should then be able to bind your receivers which must also have V2 firmware. The current receivers are shipping with V2.
