Help choosing a new receiver?

Hi all. I should start by sharing that I am new to RC so please bear with my ignorance!

I very recently finished a 2 year build my first plane (highly customized Sig Kadet Sr./Saito 4 stroke). I am now getting ready (with the help of a local club) to fly it for the first time. I currently have a Radiomaster TX16S multiprotocol radio which if I've read correctly supports Frsky ACCST D8 and D16 protocols. I also have the Radiomaster R168 receiver installed. Given that Radiomaster no longer supports this receiver (pulled from the market due to legal issues) and also given the many anecdotal reports of suspected failures of this receiver I am not comfortable leaving it in the plane. It is just too simple and inexpensive to replace. One feature I really liked about this receiver and that I'd really like to retain was the built in receiver battery voltage telemetry.

I was hoping someone here could help me determine which Frsky receiver and/or which Frsky receiver/sensor combination I could use to replace my current receiver and that would allow me to retain the receiver battery voltage telemetry feature? I am only using 5 channels (Ailerons x2, Elevator, Rudder and Throttle) and again this is a glow plane so only receiver battery.

Jure, reading the RX6R manual, I don't see anything about how to setup receiver battery voltage telemetry. Are you implying that this receiver would work with my radio albeit without telemetry? Sorry for the naive question.
 
the RX6R has built in receiver voltage telemetry , named AIN1 or RxBat .
a second general purpose analog Voltage input , AIN2, is available at the connector.

Thank you so much for the help again Jure. Just one final follow-up question if I could. And it may be a dumb one but what or where is AIN1? I see where AIN2 is labeled but not where AIN1 is?

Ain1 is the Receiver battery voltage so normally around 5 volts depending on the receiver flight pack or Bec in use and is monitored internally in the receiver, it's name is Rxbat. Be aware the Ain2 has a range of 0 to 3 volts for the RX6R, so if you want to monitor a Lipo flight pack say 1S, 2S, 3S, 4S or higher you need to use a resistor voltage divider to ensure what ever Lipo voltage you intend to use does not exceed 3 volts, beyond 3 volts will damage the receiver so be careful. You then setup the displayed voltage thru the Transmitter software being the Telemetry page A2 adjusting the ratio setting until the displayed voltage equals the measure flight pack voltage. So what is happening the voltage to the receiver Ain2 is divided by say a factor of 10 and then in the transmitter software adjustment its multiplied by 10. Accuracy is very good to .1 volt doing it this way.
