Help. Brand new X-Lite Pro won’t bind with G-RX6

Zeph

New User
I’ve spent hours trying to get my X-lite pro to bind with the G-RX6 I bought at the same time.
I updated transmitter firmware. Receiver doesn’t seem to bind and looks like it’s stuck in failsafe mode but using the jumper as suggested doesn’t do anything.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The RF sections need to match. This is different from the TX operating system (OpenTX). I assume you are working in ACCeSS. If so down load from the FrSky site the much needed update for the X-lite pro ISRM ACCeSS v2.1.6. The Archer RX are to the ACCeSS v2.1.x standard as shipped.
.
I can't understand why the FrSky TX still have the dangerous ISRM firmware shipped new from the factory!

Aloft has a nice video on how to do this, that I can't find as it isn't a sticky in this forum!

Thanks for the reply. Downloaded and flashed ISRM 2.1.6 and I've done the same for OTX 2.3.11. Still wont connect. Just to clarify What internal RF mode should I be using for a GRX6?

I tried flashing the new firmware for the GRX6 you linked which i put on the SD card and it said there was an error, "receiver not responding."

I'm thinking it might be an issue with the receiver?

Can you post that fine video as a sticky? I think that might really help guys get the most out of their hobby time. You helped me with much the same problem in that I thought (hoped) that the purchase of FrSky RF products at or near the same time would communicate with each other straight out of the box. There have been many FrSky customers here that have made the same assumptions and lost hours of time wearing out the reg/bind buttons!

Aloft Hobbies has a very good video that addresses 99% of the issue it is just almost impossible to find if a guy comes to the forum looking for this reference material.

All the best,
Konrad
