There should not be much difference in basic Sbus control. As I understand it FRsky adopted the Futaba Sbus protocols and added some additional functionality. I use the Sbus with Adru pilot using the PX4 and all operates fine.

F-Port is a combination of S-Bus and S-port on the one connection. Some flight controllers can support it. I do not know if ikon-2 supports this protocol, it's a question to be answered by ikon.
If Ikon does support it you will need to flash the receiver with the F-port version of the receiver firmware. All it really does is reduce connection between the receiver and flight controller by one wire.
