Gr6 wont register or bind

I am returning to the hobby after many years and am getting frustrated with trying to set up my x14 transmitter and archer gr6 receiver. I have follwed the instructions carefully but only get a solid red light on the receiver. The transmitter says “waiting for receiver”. The button on the receiver is very small and you dont really feel any kind of a click. Wondering how hard to push it. I think Frsky stuff may be aimed at experienced users. The instructions are very weak. Its all new stuff so I’m assuming the firmware is correct. Anty ideas would be appreciated.

If you click the receiver button in the correct place your will feel a click. Try several positions. So get the receiver to display red and green solid leds first. Then click register on the Transmitter.

Thank you. Finally got it figured out. I will say that Frsky could benefit from a more detailed manual with a trouble shooting guide.
