This is a question for Wayne at Aloft Hobbies. I have a G-RX6 receiver and I am using a X9D Taranis with external XJT module. The module is happy with all other X series receivers, but when used with the G-RX6 it binds fine and the radio shows full bars on the RSSI display, but the radio beeps away constantly like there is a range or antenna issue. Everything is tight and fully charged up, contacts are good, using the antenna that came with the module (although I get better reception with the T antenna that usually goes on the X-Lite radio).
As I said, the module is happy with all other X series receivers, but not the G-RX6
My question is, being such a new RX released, does it need the firmware updated. And if so how? Is it through the socket that you have to solder on?
