FWTM problems

I have a FWTM module, hopefully to use in my X20s and bound to a radiomaster tx16s. I believe this should be possible... but- When powering the x20s on with the module (I have the trainer master settings set to use the internal bay, so it gets power) inserted, it just blinks the blue light. If I power it on with the button pressed, I get a solid blue light. This is not at all what the manual indicates should happen- IE I'm never seeing a green light at all. Doing something wrong, or do I possibly have a defective module? Anyone with experience?

Why are you trying to bind your X20S FRsky transmitter to a radio master transmitter. Or am I missing something.

You're missing something... :-) The FWTM is a module that goes in the bay of the instructor radio, it's basically an ACCESS or ACCST receiver that the student radio binds to.... thus creating a wireless training link between the two radios. The x20s uses its internal transmitter to fly the airplane. My problem is that the FWTM module doesn't seem to light up its lights in the way it's supposed to.

Sounds very risky to me.
