Does anyone knows whether Act M5213H servo have a Hall Sensor or conventional potentiometer? Also how does overAmp feature work on XAct M5253H servo with TD SR6 or SR10 receivers? Does it happening through special port or through regular Servo wire on each channel?

answer: the Act M5213H servo has potentiometer feedback.

FrSky Act 5200 Series Servos,

The Act series coreless servos utilize a fully CNC machined aluminum protective case and benefit from metal gears.

The Act series servos are available in a range of models to support different Torque and Speeds depending on your needs.
These servos are ideally matched to models especially where power, reliability, and precision are required.

Features

  • High durability with metal gear and all-aluminum CNC machined protective case
  • 8.4V high voltage capable operation with high speed and big torque performance
  • Built-in dual precision balls bearing with potentiometer sensor

Yep, the ACT are pretty much normal servos, they do not have the added telemetry features, but they do offer a better price point. Quality is still excellent.

The ACT M5213H is active as far as I know. We did get the last of the inventory from FrSky back in mid-August and have been waiting for them to restock since then.

As a side note, told we will be getting the new 10mm wing servos around the end of the month. (They killed off the old 10mm and didn't have the replacement ready till now.)

Thank you Wayne!
Damn, what are the chances for great McDDD to stop by my thread!? Do you still fly profiles? I'd love to see what you can do with those ACT MS5213H!!! It seems like the whole world moved to EDFs, and everyone forgot about 3D flying... Even Wild Fred back to CONUS, but flipping houses, instead of airplanes... unfortunately. Do you got any new videos of your flying? I'm bet I'm not the only one who'd love to see you fly.

Thank you!

Oh, I've been subscriber to your channel for many years, but I've been out of hobby for sometimes... and love your videos of Chinn Yak, Katana and Sabre, and would not mind to see some more...

Thank you!
