FrSKY x20RS radio article in Model Aviation - MAR 2026

Cal Orr presents a six page in-use report of the FrSKY x20RS radio system in the March 2026
issue of Model Aviation, the magazine of the national aeromodeling organization in the USA.

He switched to FrSKY 2.4/900 modulation from another radio brand after he experienced
a flyaway of a four-engine model airliner, which he attributed to transmitter failure.

In the article, Cal describes the the x20RS setup in three models,
including a 1/2 scale, 25-foot wingspan, 75 pound e-glider.

Interestingly, the glider actuates airbrakes, but has no flaps or spoilers.
Hmmmm... I wonder how this arrangement would work on the AH-100 wing?

Here is an AI translation of Jose's message:

"Hello everyone, how's it going? I have an FrSky X20R radio, I went to do an update and accidentally shut everything down, and now I can't reconnect it. When I enter Bootloader mode and connect the USB, it shows that I'm connected. But when I go to do the update, it shows a message saying the radio is not connected. Can anyone help me? Thanks!"
