With the release of Windows 11, there are a TON of people who refuse to play Microsoft games anymore, especially with the advent of a version that has little respect for privacy (it will know everything about you).
I'm not here to rant on Windows, I'm just saying that FrSky really needs to write Ethos Suite and anything else that requires online access for Linux.
Windows is the dying carcass of computer OS's while Linux has already become the future.
 
Windows controls about 70% of home users computers, Apple about 16% and Linux is at 4%.

Linux is popular for servers though.
 
Linux popularity on the desktop is rising fast, even among hardcore Windows users. Bringing out also a Linux version of Ethos Suite would be very welcome.
 
Can't hurt to ask. Post up a request on Github, pretty sure Bertrand, the programmer for Ethos, is probably a Linux guy??

Just respond there so he knows you are also looking for it. He has to see interest before Frsky will allow him to move in that direction.
 
Windows is fine, does everything i want. Linux doesnt have any of the software i want to use. All of my friends are on windows, all my games, my video editing software. It just works, doesnt have issues.
Your ISP, even with vpn, is recording everything you do. Every website is recording your visit. Privacy is a myth. Start worrying about it and your just going to see how everything you do is being recorded everywhere. As long as its not in my face i dont care. Windows is easy and works.

Having options is always good. Linux might not be your choice, but it may very well be for others. If you think Linux is difficult, you might want to try to run Linux Mint from a USB stick to give an impression of how it works. It is much lighter to use than Windows, so older hardware will run smoothly again with Linux Mint.
Personally, I don't like where Microsoft is going and what they are pushing and I'm not alone with this opinion.

VMware Fusion (for Mac) is now free (just like VMware Workstation for Windows and Linux is), so you can install Windows within a virtual machine on your Mac.

My transmitter is an X9D+ and I've been exclusively running linux for years on my pc's. OTX Companion is wonderful. I recently began to aquaint myself with the latest offerings from Frsky, Radiomaster, EdgeTX and ELRS. I'm disappointed to learn there is no linux version of Ethos Suite.
 
Please go to the link I provided and ask the developer for it. If he does not hear from enough folks it will never happen.

Just run wine and get on with it
 
People have been saying Linux is rising fast for decades. It’s not overtaking windows any time in the next few decades. Most of us pro game devs don’t even bother to support it for desktop.
