Hi

I am looking for a Trasmitter for full house gliders, I like the taranis and the 9xE

TARANIS EPECIAL EDITION CUSTOM
I wanted to buy a FrSky transmitter, and I do not really understand the improvement of the solder antenna, do not the normal versions bring it soldered?

FrSky X9E

I would also like to know, if I want to change a module in the FrSky Taranis E (X9E) - Tray Style Transmitter with Aloy Arms, sell modules that I only install and it would be ok ? without modifications?

Receivers

I'm designing a 2.8 meter electric glider, I'm in the testing stage

I am building a FH version, I could be advised on a receiver without telemetry that can be used without problems for the full house version

Also, they would recommend a receiver with telemetry that would allow me, besides Full House, to be able to measure (buying air speed sensor) to measure this variable when flying my model to see if I can have data and improve my design

Thank you so much

A video of my prototype model, I will soon publish the construction

Folding props, spinner and CAM , from Aloft :)

Solder on antennas - This is something FrSky has played with from time to time. Basically, if the antenna is not soldered on, then it is using a UFL connector, just like they use on the receivers. In theory it should be fine, but the Taranis Plus radios simply do not seem to like having a UFL connector in the circuit. They work best with the bone stock antenna soldered in place. That is how we offer the Special Editions. If you want to mess about with some other antenna style we suggest popping an XJT module into the back and screw on your favorite, this will not void the warranty on your radio, and is easy to replace should the new antenna wipe out the XJT module. (It happens!)

I will recommend the G-RX8 glider receiver.

Why? It is small and light and has all of the features you may need down the line. If you like you can bind with the telemetry off, or use the FAI mode in your transmitter to disable features not allowed during contests. I am not a big fan of non-telemetry receivers for glider use. Voltage and RSSI are excellent safety items that all contests allow as far as I know. If you must have a non-telemetry receiver, then I would go with this one:
