FrSky Gas engine sensor pack.

My first forray into telemetry sensors. Also my first forray into Ethos so when it comes to setting this all up in the new plane I'm going to appear dumb as a stump so I'm apologizing beforehand.

Building a 60cc 1/5th scale warbird. (Yes its a mustang, I'll give you a few minutes to groan...j/k)

Engine is a zenoah g 62 with a cdi conversion.

I THINK I understand the rpm sensor as I read. It's the engine temp sensor that I'm head scratching. The lead would need to be connected to the engine, obviously, but where on the engine so it reads the most accurate. The lug is too small, it appears, to go under the plug, I'd also wonder if the ignition wouldn't interfere with the sensor that way too. Pretty decent jump of current going through the plug lead to the plug.
So where would be best place? First thought was a cylinder bolt but that wouldn't really give a good indication of temp at the top of the cylinder where the action is.
Second is a carb bolt. It would be closer to top of cylinder but would it be accurate enough to read the temp at the top of the cylinder accurately enough...
Fuel velocity sensor in fuel line between tank and carb also easy enough...just head scratching some on the temp sensor

Input needed.

This the hole I'm referencing. I don't think mine is tapped but this may also be an option for me. I could check into tapping it for a stud, then attach the lead there maybe?
Wayne? You got a better picture of the engine temp sensor lead? Or an idea of the eyelet size?

Sorry, don't have one handy.

I'm not much of a gas guy, but seems like most people place these under a head bolt, think some folks wedge or glue them in between the fins.
