FREE: Hobie Hawk(ish) fuselage

I have no idea what this thing is, but we picked it up one one of our customers was moving out of the area. It appears to be some sort of a copy of a Hobie Hawk fuselage. The same person did have an original Hobie Hawk in his collection.

I can take a picture if you like, but let me paint a picture for you. It is UGLY and beat up. Free!! We can ship it out to you if you like, just pay the shipping.

I put a dog ion the photo for scale. LOL The front is very much Hobie Hawk, and the rear...? If it is a modified Hobie, then the nose is plastic, and the tube going to the tail will be fiberglass. It does have a seam at the correct spot. You can buy clear canopies for Hawks on RC Groups. A little sanding and new paint, good as newish.

Looks like a Hobie fuse with an alternate tail/dorsal attached. Probably couldn't find an original dorsal.

How does the dog operate the sticks on its transmitter. Does the dog build models as well?

Think Chip was the first to respond - The fuselage is about 1 lbs and about 40" long. By the time it is boxed, it may not be worth the shipping amount. Probably be a 42"x8x8 box. Might be $20 to ship. Let me know if you guys are still interested. Seems to be in tact and comes with a free sponge!
