OK - Looking much better now. Still need to get the new search feature plugged in and going.

It is getting late.. We will be doing some final polishing for the next few nights, but for the most part will not need to take the forum down for those items.

I'm curious if folks are getting emails alerting you to updates here?

I have not yet dug into the DNS issue that was causing the issues before, but with all of the DNS changes, wondering if it is working at all? (Probably not as I think we need to configure the SMTP for the new server.)

In general any issues you are noting?

I've never gotten emails from the forum, only the occasional newsletter. But then again I probably opted out of that as I usually do.

I would get email notifications about posts on threads I subscribed to or ones that I started. Havent gotten one since the switch over but Ill let you know.

I've been getting all the email responses except it doesn't give you like a summary or a brief snippet of what it is like it used to.

So have you all spotted the new search yet? It pops up in a few places like "similar threads" in a few places. But the search and advanced search options are now very powerful and should be very fast. I'll be doing a reindexing soon, so it might be a little slow for a bit. So nice to have!!

Probably not, I have not seen anything that does that yet.

for some time I wanted to report an inconvenience that I have found with the forum software.

when clicking on the forum menu bar , if there is a thumbnail of a picture behind it , the software opens the picture related to the thumbnail, but does not follow the function of the menu bar, for example "What's new".

please see the attached video clip showing this behavior.
disregard the fact that I did not capture in the video the complete picture opened by this "bug".

same for me, i have to always page up or down to make sure there is no picture in the way

But, for me it stopped a while ago. I think it does it only when using a Mac... Time to run a PC !!!
