Foam Board

We make a few planes with foam board. We would like to source some better quality board if possible. Any suggestions out there? Been looking for the water resistant stuff, but even Flight Test seems to have dropped it? Not clear to me.

Or do we stick with the stuff we are using and let folks worry about waterproofing it themselves?

Also, we do have Depron at the shop. But no designs for it at this time. Thinking maybe a line of simple free flights with Depron.

Adams Readi-board seems to be the go-to for the cheap stuff. https://www.goadams.com/products/readi-board-foam-board/ Although I think they have recently changed the formulation and the consensus is it is worse. I much prefer Depron, it is superior in every way except maybe price. Why not just design for that? It is stronger and much more durable.

I totally agree. But seems foam board people like their foam board. Go figure.

When I have some time I'll play with some Depron specific stuff. I enjoy working with Depron, rather enjoyable and can be very clean.

I havent messed with foam board in a long time. I love how quick the builds are. Be a fun challenge to make a sloper that doesnt suck before sunset.

Naw can't see using it for slope abuse. This would be for electric things like our Silly Stick.
