Flying at Sugarloaf

[jure]

nice afternoon in Walnut Creek.
Ron flying his Weasel, executing a perfect landing. ( I certify that ! )
We understand that today there were races at The SLOT , but we took a more sedate and also enjoyable approach to flying today.

That's a racing Weasel if I ever saw one!!

Very nice.

Göppingen Gö 3 Minimoa - RC model glider

2m wingspan model by Hobbyking/ArtTech. Compilation of three flights , with a Runcam camera placed in three locations.

this morning, before the afternoon heat !

Ron and I flew today at Sugarloaf.
Power was not needed, but we were covered.

[Wayne]

Hmm, we could do a low energy race there.

Could be a fun spot if the wind is right.

[jure]

based on yesterdays conditions, and a similar forecast, we are flying again this afternoon !

[Yotaman1985]

Im stuck at work today but might be off Friday and able to fly or this weekend. Ill keep an eye on the winds and see if its favorable.

Edit: Just checked and doesnt look nearly as good Friday/weekend as today unfortunately.

[jure]

well as you suggested, this site may be iffy.
that's why we fly either light gliders or powered gliders, mostly.
for sure , we'll met again soon !

[jure]

excellent flying conditions today !

Ron flew the Multiplex Easy Glider pro and I flew the Vladimir Models Sprite.

hopefully , as we enter the season , we will have more days like these.
