Hello everyone, I seem to be having trouble with my first generation Taranis, and I think that’s what’s attributed to a lot of what’s going on with my crashes. When the Sess went in there was nothing no RSSI low telemetry lost or anything, but definitely I had no control. Today I was flying. It was my top model twister flying along and just out of the sky it fell straight down same thing no Telemitry lost no RSSI low or prequel. Nothing when I went to retrieve it, it made a beep sound the radio got to the aircraft. It was still plugged in stuff was moving flaps elevator unplugged took it back to the table. Plug it everything worked pull the prop off re-plugged and nothing I looked down at the radio and noticed it said frsky the banner after it says welcome to Taranis. Turn off the radio turn it back on re-plugged and it was working so I seem to be having some kind of intermittent dropping. I have never updated It or flashed any new software or anything and then figure out what to do. I do have a Taranis 2019se can we transfer my models to it and I have had trouble binding first GEN receivers but I have one that I was able to get to bind that I fly my Corsa with.
Any thoughts would be appreciated thank you.

Never updated? I wouldn't fly it.

FrSky had issues with V1 firmware, and it will shift all of the channels when the bug hits. It is rare in the USA, but still a risk that does not need to be taken!

Honestly, I'd suggest you move away from the older radio and switch to the newer, but make sure you update the newer radio (back it up first), and I'd install UNI on all of the receivers. Then you will be golden.

I’m ordering some archer receivers start swapping them out. I can fly the Corsa and the Magnus. They’re on the newer Radio.

Well I have another receiver that would bind 4 channel my yellow jacket 3m. I have D8R’s I have 3 they will not bind or all the other x4r’s
