Flat Land Trends

Konrad

Very Strong User
Haunting some of the European forums I noticed a trend towards electrifyling the small fuselage F3B and F3F models. For example the Aeroic Corsa 108 in this thread. I have to ask what is driving this? Is it that cliffs are getting harder to find with the land lords willing to allow us to fly off them. I know that F3B is a dying event with all the work it takes managing the winches. This is why F5B and F5J are so popular.

So what to do with your old strong (read heavy wing) winch launched F3B type ship. Add a narrow (geared inrunner) and extract a bit more life out of the airframe?

Folks are probably getting too old to climb up hills! In the UK, there are very few slope sites that are park and fly. One of the best coastal sites has just been closed to flying, although I’m not surprised at all about that as it didn’t comply with many regs and the terms by which we get our insurance.
