E6000 regular, plus and premium

More experienced builders may know this but for the rest of us:

There is a world of difference between the various E6000 formulations. I had not imagined how different they could be.

I was using E6000 Plus for my Slingshot build and it more or less sucked. I was having a heck of a time getting to the right outcome - strong, flexible, low-resistance hinges. The biggest problem was that the glue barely gripped the plastic. It was easy to pull off, and it created an overly strong rubbery hinge which had a lot of resistance. It is possible I was applying it incorrectly.

E6000 Premium was a totally different glue. It is like magic. Binds like crazy to the plastic and it was very easy to get a nearly perfect outcome. The hinge is very strong, very flexible, and offers little resistance to movement. The control surfaces are just about perfect now.

Just tossing this out in case it helps anyone else.

Interesting. We use and sell the E6000 jewelry version. And we have used large tubes of the normal E6000 also. Never noticed the plus or premium versions. I was attracted to the jewelry simply for the dispenser, and the smaller sized tube. Hate when I toss out a half used tube when it self hardens.

Did some web research. Looks like E6000 Premium (the one I found to be far superior to "Plus") is the same formulation as what you're selling, @Wayne . They add those applicator tips, which is nice, but apart from that seems like the same version of the glue.
