Now that’s a gold plated power system! What prop and battery are you using?
Also let us know how the fuselage works. Where they put those servos has always given me concern. (Maybe unfounded).

Originally i was going for 3s setup ... but after checking some numbers in the Ecalc.app a 4s setup is a much better choice...
Got different props for testing
12x13
13x10
14x9.5 wide
15x9.5 wide
16x10
16x13
The rear servo location is perfectly located and very easy for servo and rod installation....plus the Fuse is strongly reinforced both in front and back .....TJIRC Models looks to be better built and of superior quality over any RCRCM Model.....

Almost ready....just need to finish the radio setup ...and locate the CG...think it should be the same as in the Typhoon..?

Yes, same in principal - different manufacturer and only a couple of things changed slightly. But you are in good hands, the Typhoon is the biggest selling moulded 2M model of all time. Hundreds flown. With these Alpha's added, the total model numbers will soon reach the magic M.

Actually like the way I designed the fuselage servo installation in a side pocket - At the time I had never designed an electric model so to me it seemed like an easy way to do it, and its been copied a few times so I guess it is.

I think I did a good job designing that plane so long ago - and it was designed in the middle of a big typhoon - I had nothing else to do! Sunbird 60 is getting up there in numbers too - already over 450.

Good louck with the flying.

Sessanta 60. It's part of the new "Supersport" range and is an all-around improved version of the Sunbird.

One-piece wing, lighter stronger construction, more aerobatic, and faster.

The production version has a rudder by the way.
